BEFORE CONTACTING US

Please have the following information available before contacting Technical Support.

For Release 3.10 customers:

  • Your serial number (defined in the security tab of your SAM Configuration Tool)
  • Your SAM version number as noted in your SAM log
  • A full description of the incident
  • Your hardware environment
  • Your software environment (i.e. operating system, network and platforms)

For Release 3.30 customers:

  • Your disk ID (defined in the security tab of your SMA ODBC configuration utility)
  • A full description of the incident
  • Your hardware environment
  • Your software environment (i.e. operating system, network and platforms)
  • Output gathered by running SMADataCollector
  • If reporting an incident with the MCP or Unix LSAM, please provide output from the SMASUP utility
