Please have the following information available before contacting
Technical Support.

For Release 3.31 and 4.00 customers:

  • Your disk ID (defined in the security tab of your SMA ODBC configuration utility)
  • A full description of the incident, including schedule name and job name (when appropriate)
  • Exit code of job (where appropriate)
  • Your hardware environment
  • Your software environment (i.e. operating system, network and platforms)
  • Output gathered by running SMADataCollector on the SAM Server
  • If reporting an incident with the 2200, MCP or Unix LSAM, please provide output from the SMASUP utility
